Mature Hens

The mature hens that Kah Guan sells are known as 「Red Chickens」 by customers.
They have beautiful colour feathers and about one and a half year old.
The chicken’s flesh is thick, making it suitable for all kinds of traditional dishes.
For example, everyone’s favorite Bamboo Chicken, Chicken Curry, Rendang Ayam Pencen, Gulai Ayam Pencen, …etc.
Also, mature hens have rich intestinal eggs, which is also a local traditional food too.

Kah Guan has a good partnerships with most of the local poultry farms.
The chicken supply is always adequate and consistent, ensuring long-term provision of fresh and high-quality products to the customers.
Kah Guan offers mature hens which are generally sold alive and the prices of chickens of different grades are slightly different.

The mature hens of Close House have pink crest and the feathers is no so colour. We dubbed them as 「air-conditioned chicken」.

The mature hens of Open House have bright red crest, and their feathers’s color are even and bright. Everyone commonly calls them 「Chicken of Sun」.

Regardless of whether 「air-conditioned chicken」 or 「Chicken of Sun」, apart from the slight differences in appearance, the meat quality is same.
